Freelance photographer. Currently lives in Bali in Taipei. He's been working as a photographer since 1992 and became the photography editor for ARCH magazine in 1996. In 1999 he began to exhibit his own work. In 2002 he displayed his work at a Munich festival for young Chinese artists, and he was a resident artist at Taipei's Treasure Hill from 2006. In 2007 he was a featured artist of the Taipei pavilion of the Venice biennial and in 2010 he participated in the Chushehui (Out in the Workplace) joint exhibition curated by Chang Mei-ling. In 2014 he held a 20 year retrospective exhibition of his own work entitled And.
