呂岱如生於1977年12月20日，台北。她在獲得輔仁大學英國語文學士與倫敦大學Goldsmiths College二十世紀藝術史碩士學位後，開始她在文化藝術領域中多種形式的活動－寫作、評論、翻譯與自由策展。與當代藝術環境互動所衍生、轉繹的實驗文字作品和其他形式之批判性的回應都表達了她對於社會政經環境體制與文化藝術發展之間交互影響的關注。近來，她嘗試發展對於藝術展示與溝通的不同策展策略與模式，以實驗多元策展的研究與實踐來延伸脈絡型策展的議題。
