Media: 999 sewing needles threaded with red sewing thread, water pond, air pump
Dimentions: 2.5-ft (H) x 7.5-ft (W) x 14-ft (L)
Upon entering the exhibition room, viewers see a large pair of red lips at the end of the room emerging from the surface of a water pond. Hundreds of sewing needles pinned along the outline of the upper lip drip with red sewing thread to form the texture of the lip. The reflection of the upper lip on the water forms the lower lip. The lip finds its fulfillment in the pond. Water bubbles are constantly popping out from the center of the lips…
