麥書菲是澳洲策展人,目前正在台彎做關於當代藝術和身分認同政治的博士研究。她演講,也為雜誌期刊大量撰寫關於台灣藝術的文章,包括《亞太藝術 Art AsiaPacific) 》、《藝術快訊 (Flash Art) 》、《每月藝術(Art Monthly) 》。她曾策劃過以台彎藝術為主題的展覽,包括「面對面:台灣當代藝術 Face to Face: Contemporary art from Taiwan」(1999)、 和 Lee Weng Choy、Eugene Tan 共同策劃「島: 紐西蘭、新加坡和台灣的當代藝術 Islanded: Contemporary Art from New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan」(2005) 、以及「半影:台灣當代藝術](2008)。
