Chia Chi Jason WANG, he is the curator of the Taiwan Pavilion at the 9th Architecture Biennale of Venice (2004), working with Li H. LU, director of the Interbreeding Field at the Graduate Institute of Architecture, Tainan National College of the Arts. He was one of the two curators of the 2002 Taipei Biennial Great Theatre of the World. His other recent experiences include Executive Director at Dimension Endowment of Art and Curator of Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei.

The major exhibitions he has curated include: HOME-Taiwan Biennial 2008 (National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, expected 11/2008 ~ 2/2009) The Interbreeding Field: an Interbreeding Project, From Tainan to Venice, Taiwan Pavilion, 9th Architecture Biennale of Venice (Palazzo delle Prigione, Venice, expected 9/2004~11/2004); Simulation: The Poetics of Imaging in the Technology Age (Hong-gah Museum, Taipei, 2003/ Aspire Park of the Acer Computer Groups, Taoyuan, 2004); 1st Taishin Art Prize Exhibition for the Nominees (Eslite Art Sapce/ Eslite Gallery, 2003); Great Theatre of the World: 2002 Taipei Biennial (Taipei Fine Arts Museum, 2002); The Brave New World (Pierre Gallery, 2002;); Childhood Revisited (Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei, 2001); From Iconoclasm to Neo-Iconolatry: Taiwan’s Contemporary Art in the Post-Martial Law Era (Eslite Gallery, Taipei Gallery/Chinese Information and Culture Center in New York & Manhattanville College, New York, 2001); Home (Eslite Gallery, 1999); On the Edge of Tradition: Broadening the Vision of Contemporary Ink Painting (Dimension Endowment of Art, Taipei, 1998).

He has contributed widely to various art catalogs and Chinese and English magazines since 1992, such as Art Today (Taiwan), Artist Magazine (Taiwan), Chinese Art News (Taiwan), Art China (China), Art and Asia Pacific (Australia), Flash Art (Italy) and Yishu (Taiwan/Canada).

Over the years, he has also undertaken major English-Chinese translation projects, focusing on the fields of Art Criticism, Art Theory and Art History. He also teaches as a part-time lecturer at the Graduate Institute of Plastic Arts of the Tainan National College of the Arts (since fall semester, 2003) and the Department of Art and Art Education, National Taipei Teachers College (since 1997).
